Madison Square Corridor Improvement Authority Appointed- Southtown

The Madison Square Corridor Improvement Authority was appointed today by the Grand Rapids City Commission. Members include Gert Hobson (SECA), Jeremy DeRoo(Lighthouse Communities), Tom Duthler (Duthler's Family Foods), Dave Allen (property owner), and Commissioner James White. With a generous grant from LISC, the TIF and development plans are ready to be written. TIF fundings allows the Madison Square CIA, together with the community, to keep improving the Madison Square business district and increase its economic vitality.
